Have questions about our services, fees, or how to get started?
You’ll find answers to the most common topics below.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Roots Psychological Services is a private pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance plan to determine eligibility and coverage.
What age groups do you work with?
Our services are tailored for children, adolescents, and emerging adults, as well as the caregivers, educators, and teams who support them.

What can I expect from a psychological evaluation?
Evaluations are comprehensive and tailored to each individual’s needs. They may include cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional testing, along with interviews and input from caregivers or educators. After the evaluation is complete, you’ll receive a detailed report and feedback session with personalized recommendations.
What are your fees?
Because we are a private pay practice, fees vary based on the service provided. A breakdown of evaluation, therapy, coaching, and consultation rates is available upon request. We are happy to provide a Good Faith Estimate in compliance with the No Surprises Act.
What is consultative coaching?
Consultative coaching is a non-clinical, goal-focused service that supports performance, leadership, and personal growth. It’s ideal for athletes, leaders, and emerging professionals working on skills like focus, confidence, communication, and decision-making. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or psychological treatment.
